area,A = Area of rectangular block = l x b = 10 x 5 = 50cm²
Now,
Pressure ,P = 5/50
= 1/10
= 0.1 N/cm²
∴ PRESSURE = 0.1 N/cm² or 0.1 Pascals

=50 CM^2
MASS OF BLOCK IS EQUAL TO THE FORCE APPLIED
SO FORCE = 500 N
PRESSURE ON BLOCK= 500÷50 (P=F/A)
=10N/CM ^2
