Heya!!

----------------------

= 1/3 x^2 + 1/2 x + 2 - (x^2 - 5/2 x + 7)

= 1/3 x^2 + 1/2 x + 2 - x^2 + 5/2 x - 7

= 1/3 x^2 - x^2 + 1/2 x + 5/2 x + 2 - 7

= - 2/3 x^2 + 6/2 x - 5

= - 2/3 x^2 + 3x - 5

Hope it helps uh :)

Given Equation is x^2 - (5/2)x + 7 ----- (1)

Given Equation is (1/3)x^2 + (1/2)x + 2 ---- (2)

Subtract (1) from (2), we get

= > x^2/3 + (x/2) + 2 - (x^2 - 5x/2 + 7)

= > x^2/3 + (x/2) + 2 - x^2 + 5x/2 - 7

= > (x^2/3) - x^2 + 3x - 5

= > (-2x^2 + 9x)/3 - 5

= > (-2x^2 + 9x - 15)/3

Hope this helps!
