in the first one X = 100 degree (vertically opposite angles) so y= 180-100+35
y = 180-135
y = 45 degree
in the second one X = 90 degree (right angled triangle) y = 180-90+30
= 180 - 150
= 30 degree
in the third one X is an exterior angle so X = 60 + 65 (exterior angle property)
X = 125 degree
y = 180 - 125 (linear pair)
y = 55 degree

kohinoor54: I want to ask that how you do 180-90+30
kohinoor54: =30
kohinoor54: Oh sorry 150
simran7890: 90 + 30 is 150
simran7890: and then subtract it from 180

1. x=100 becoz vertically opposite angles
x+y+35=180 becoz angle sum property
100+y+35=180
y=45
2. x=90 becoz right angle
x+y+30=180
90+y+30=180
y=60
3.60+65=x becoz exterior angle property
x=125
x+y=180 becoz linear pair
125+y=180
y=551
