hiii!!!!

here's ur answer...

given the height (length) of the door is 1.5m and breadth (wide) is 2m.

area of the door = l×b

= 1.5×2

= 3m²

length (height) of the wall excluding the triangular part = 2.5m

Breadth of the wall = 3.5m

area of the wall excluding the triangular part = l×b

= 2.5×3.5

= 8.75m²

now, area of the triangular part = 1/2×b×h

= 1/2×3.5×1.2

= 3.5×0.6

= 2.1m²

total area of the wall = 8.75+2.1

= 10.85m²

area of the wall excluding door = 10.85-3

= 7.85m²

a. 7.85m² of paint will be needed

b. if a can covers 2.5m² then no of cans needed to cover the wall = 7.85/2.5

= 3.14 cans is required

c. cost of 1 can = $24.50 then total cost = 3.14×24.50

= $76.93

hope this helps..!
