The abI've triangle is an isosceles triangle.. so the two of the 3 angles should be equal.

So, let one of the equal angles be = a

and let the other angle be = b

So, 2a +b = 180

or , a +b = 180/2

or, a+b = 90

So, in the above figure , let x+y be = 90

so, x = 45°

y = 45°

And , as we can see in the figure z is a right angle.. so, z = 90°
