In these paragraphs, I will be comparing "Jess and Layla's Astronomical Assignment" and "Our Mysterious Universe"

The book "Jess and Layla's Astronomical Assignment," talks about space traveling and going back into time by just asking for a wish, whereas the book "Our Mysterious Universe" talks about stars and their life cycle. In this book, they have gathered the information from secondary sources like reading various sources or talking with the scientists, etc.  

While both the books talk about space facts, they are different as the first book is fictional in genre whereas the other is non-fictional as it gathers facts from real sources. Another example to prove this is - Jess and Layla drove a "magical van" that flew into space! The second book has examples of real images of space and real stories of scientists walking on the moon, hence it proves it is non-fictional.  

As we can see, these books are similar as well as different. Both books talk about space and scientists but one is fictional and the other is non-fictional. The fictional book added their random elements whereas the non-fictional book talked about real stories and facts using secondary sources.
