1)

Let x + 1/x = y

SQUARING BOTH SIDE'S

( x + 1/x )² = y²

=>

x² + 1/x² + 2 = y²

=>

62 + 2 = y²

=>

y² = 64

=>

y = √64

=>

y = 8 or y = -8

So, x + 1/x = 8 or x + 1/x = -8

kapoorvikram53: hello zakir plz i posted a question x^2+1/x^2=62 find x^4+1/x^4
Anonymous: x² + 1/x² =62 SQUARING BOTH SIDE'S ...... ( x² + 1/x² )² = (62)² ........... x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 3844-2..........x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 3842.

Answer:

ans of ques 11 is    8

Step-by-step explanation:

( x+1/x )² = x²+ 1/x² + 2 x*1/x

            =    62+2

            = 64

x +1/x=8
