1. Glucose (an aldohexose) in an alkaline solution is slowly oxidised by oxygen, forming gluconic acid:

CH2OH-(CHOH)4-CHO + ½O2 → CH2OH-(CHOH)4-CO2H

In the presence of sodium hydroxide, gluconic acid is converted to sodium gluconate.

2. The following reaction can be termed as a double displacement reaction. Here Na(sodium) being highly reactive displaces FeSO4 from its solution. Thus, a dull green precipitate is obtained as follows:

NaOH + FeSO4 => Na2SO4 + Fe(OH)2

3. Vapors of hydrogen chloride and ammonia are brought together to produce a fuming white solid which is called ammonium chloride.

The chemical equation is as follows:
HCl + NH3 --> NH4Cl

4. When white Silver chloride exposed to sunlight it produces to black metallic colured Silver along with liberation of Chlorine gas.
2AgCl → 2Ag + Cl2
This is a photodecomposition reaction.
