PM : MQ = 6:5

therefor, PM : PQ = 6: 11

As MN parallel to QR,

By BPT :

PM : PQ = MN : QR

MN : QR = 6 : 11

now in triangles MNO & RQO :

∠MON = ∠QOR (Vertically opp. angles)

∠NOM = ∠ORQ ( MN║QR, alt. interior angles )

therefore, MNO similar to RQO

therefore, ratio of areas of similar triangles is equal to ratio of sides squared.

We know MN : QR = 6 : 11,

therefore, area MNO : area QOR = MN²: QR²

                                                       = 36 : 121
