Given:-

  • Edge of cubes = xcm , 8cm ,9cm
  • Single cube= 12cm

To find:-

  • Value of x =.....?

Solution:-

As we know that,

volume \: of \: cube =  {side}^{3}

volume \: of \: first \: \: cube =  {(x \: cm)}^{3}  \\ volume \: of \: second \: cube =  {(8cm)}^{3}  = 512 {cm}^{3}  \\ volume \: of \: third \: cube =  {(10cm)}^{3}  = 1000 {cm}^{3}

volume \: of \: single \: cube =  {(12cm)}^{3}  = 1728 {cm}^{3}

Now ,

The sum of cube = sum of single cube

  =  > {x}^{3} \:  {cm}^{3}  + 512 {cm}^{3}  + 1000 {cm}^{3}  = 1728 {cm}^{3}  \\  =  >  {x}^{3}  + 1512 {cm}^{3}  = 1728 {cm}^{3}  \\  =  >  {x}^{3}  {cm}^{3}  = 216 {cm}^{3}  \\  =  > x =  \sqrt[3]{216 {cm}^{3} }  = 6cm
