(65^-2)^1/4 - (36^-2)^1/4

{we have (a^m)^n = a^(mn)}

[(65)^(-1/2)] - [(36)^(-1/2)]

= [√(65^(-1)] - [√36^(-1)]
{°•° a^(1/2) = √a}

= (1/√65) -(1/√36) ----------(1)
{°•° a^(-1)= 1/a}
√36= √(6²) = (6²)^(1/2)= 6

Now find √65
65 is a non perfect square.
64<65<81 [here 64 and 81 are perfect squares]
8²<65<9²
=> 8<√65<9

√65= 8 + (1/(2*8))= 8 + (1/16)= 8 + 0.0625
= 8.0625

substitute in (1)
=>(1/8.0625) - (1/6)
=>(6 - 8.0625)/(6*8.0625)
=>-2.0625/48.375
=>-(11/258)
=>-0.04263

The Value of what you've just asked is -0.04263

{::: If you didn't get the way I have calculated square root of non perfect square, comment or see my answer in my profile}

;)
hope it helps
