(2x+5)/3=3x-10

2x+5=3(3x-10)

2x+5=9x-30

5+30=9x-2x

7x=35

x=5

By cross multiplication, we get...

2x + 5 = 3(3x -10)

2x + 5 = 9x - 30

30 + 5 = 9x - 2x

7x = 35

x=5
