3
4x + 3x +3 = 15 +9
7x= 24 -3
X= 21÷3
X= 7

Suzannejols: Please see the second step of your answer, the RHS in the 2nd step is wrong; 15-(3x-3) is not 15+9, it is 15-3x+3; please check
Baidurya: Absolutely
meenug1974pb4csn: Sorry i thought it's sign of multiply
meenug1974pb4csn: 4x + 3x +3 = 15 - 3x +3
7x= 15-3x
10X= 15
X= 3/2
Suzannejols: Even if it was a sign of multiply then also it wouldn't be 15x+9, anyways thanks for your help

4x+3(x+1)=15-(3x-3)
or, 4x + 3x + 3 = 15 - 3x +3
or, 10x = 15
or, x = 3/2 = 1½ (ans)

Checking -
LHS = 4×3/2 + 3(3/2+1)
= 6 + 15/2 = 6+7½ = 13½
RHS = 15 - (3×3/2 - 3)
= 15 - (9/2 - 3) = 15 - 1½ = 13½
So LHS=RHS (checked)

Suzannejols: Because it is not coming equal
Baidurya: :-|
Suzannejols: So can you do it and see
Baidurya: It is all right.
Baidurya: I checked
Baidurya: Check your calculations please
Suzannejols: can you please send the checking part
Baidurya: Done
Suzannejols: thanks so much
Suzannejols: my calculation must be wrong
