The ball will stop according to Newton's 1st law which states that when a body is in motion it tends to be in motion and when a body is in rest it tends to be in rest if any external force is not applied. Here the external force that is gravitational pull is not there

Baidurya: The ball isn't going to stop at all. It is going to keep on falling
Sumit12911: One other person has also answered
Sumit12911: he told ball will stop
Sumit12911: I also thinks that ball will continue to move with constant speed
Baidurya: That "one other person" is me :-)
Baidurya: and i didn't say for once that the ball is gonna stop
Devilsden: study newtons 1st law
Devilsden: i am not sure about this
Baidurya: you are wrong

Velocity gained by the ball after it falls freely upto halfway is v = √(u² + 2g.½h) [ball falls halfway]
v=√(0+2×9.8×320/2)m/s [since u=initial velocity=0, as the ball is at rest till the instant it is dropped]
=√(4×49×32)
= 2×7×4√2 = 56√2 m/s
After this, the pull of gravity disappears suddenly. So the ball now falls with a constant speed, without gaining any, due to the lack of any acting force (ignoring resistance offered by air), and thereby due to lack of any acceleration.
