All the questions are based on exterior angle concept.

Just keep one thing in mind. No matter how many sides a polygon has, the sum of exterior angles is ALWAYS 360°.

Hence

Q 5)

i) 360°

ii) 360°

iii) 360°

iv) 360°

v) 360°

(note: sum of interior angle is not constant. It depends upon the number of sides and is equal to (n - 2)*180°)

Q 6) given one exterior angle = 20°

no. of sides = 360°/20°

= 18

Q 7). sum of exterior angles = 360°

y + 2y + 3y + 3y + 4y + 5y + 6y = 360°

24y = 360°

y = 360°/24

y = 15°
