Answer:

3b/2a, -b/3a

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Equation is 6a²x² - 7abx - 3b² = 0.

On comparing with ax² + bx + c = 0, we get

a = 6a², b = -7ab, c = -3b²

∴ D = b² - 4ac

      = (-7ab)² - 4(6a²)(-3b²)

      = 49a²b² + 72a²b²

      = 121a²b²

The solutions are:

⇒ x = -b±√D/2a

      = [-(-7ab) ± √121a²b²]/(12a²)

      = [7ab ± 11ab]/[12a²]

(i)

(7ab + 11ab)/(12a²)

⇒ (18ab)/12a²

⇒ 3b/2a

(ii)

(7ab - 11ab)/12a²

⇒ (-4ab)/12a²

⇒ -b/3a

Therefore, the solutions are : x = 3b/2a, -b/3a.

Hope it helps!
