➡Sum of final charges on C2 & C3.

◾Common potential..

v =  \frac{total \: charge}{total \: capacity}  =  \frac{q1 + q2}{c1 + \: c2}  \\ v =  \frac{c1v1 + c2v2}{c1 + c2}

initial charge "q" = 60 uc..

◾Let final potential across C2 & C3 is V

( \frac{c2 \: c3}{c2 + c3} ) \times v +  c_{1}v = 60uc \\ v =  \frac{60uc}{c1 +  \frac{c2 \: c3}{c2 + c3} }  =  \frac{60}{1 + 2}  = 20v

◾Total charge on C2 & C3....

( \frac{c2 \: c3}{c2 + c3} ) \times v = 2 \times 20 = 40 \\  = 40uc

option (b) is correct :40 uc
