Hi friend,

Radius of the circular orbit, r = 42250 km
Time taken to revolve around the earth, t= 24 h
Speed of a circular moving object, v = (2π r)/t
= [2× (22/7)×42250 × 1000] / (24 × 60 × 60)
= (2×22×42250×1000) / (7 ×24 × 60 × 60) m s-1
= 3073.74 m s -1

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU:-))

The speed of an object moving in a circular orbit is given by formula:
V=2πr/t
Speed,v=?
π=22/7
Radius,r=42250km
Time,t=24h
Now, putting these values in above formula,we get:
Speed,v=2×22×42250/7×24
v=11065.4km/h
Conversion of speed from km/h to km/s gives us:
v=11065.4/60×60km/s
v=3.07km/s

Hope this helps....
