Total number of balls = 12

Let number of Red balls be "x"

Probability of getting a red ball (P1) = x/12

Now 6 more red balls are added,

Total number of balls = (12+6) = 18

Total number of red balls = (x + 6)

Now Probability of getting a Red ball (P2) = (x+6)/18

According to Question, 2 (P1) = P2

P1 = x/12

P2 = (x+6)/18

So, 2 (x/12) = (x+6)/18

→ x/6 = (x+6)/18

→ 3x = x+6

→ x= 3

Hence, Total number of Red balls are 3.

Thankyou!!!
