two coils are taken in the shape of a solenoid(the part using cardboard and paper is to make it)
one solenoid is connected to a circuit and the other to a galvanometer
when the intensity or direction of electric current is changed in the first solenoid, a deflection in the galvanometer is observed in the second solenoid(due to change in magnetic flex change in the firs solenoid) due to electro magnetic induction
I. think the last part tells us to connect the battery in reverse at the first solenoid to show that electricity induced will change with the change in direction of magnetic field(RH rule)
