Solution

Given:-

  • Y = 7 - 4√3

Find:-

  • (y² + 1)/7y

Explanation

First find calculate here,

==> 1/y = 1/(7-4√3)

Rationalize of denominators .

==> 1/y = (7+4√3)/(7-4√3)(7+4√3)

==> 1/y = (7+4√3)/[7²-(4√3)²]

==> 1/y = (7+4√3)/(49-48)

==> 1/y = (7+4√3)

Now,

==> (y²+1)/(7y)

==> y/7 + 1/7y

keep value of 1/y & y

==> (7-4√3)/7 + 1/7 × (7+4√3)]

==> (7-4√3)+(7+4√3)/7

==> (14)/7

==> 2. [ Ans]
