AnswEr:-

Your Answer is,

  • x = 60°.
  • y = 77°

________________________________

ExplanaTion:-

Given:-

  • AB ।। CD.

  • <APQ = 60°.

  • <PRD = 137°.

To Find:-

  • The Value of x And y.

Concepts Used:-

  • Alternate Interior Angles.

  • Linear Pair:- The sum of Angles making an straight angle is always equal to 180°.

  • Angle Sum Property of a Triangle:- Sum of all interior angles of a triangle is always equal to 180°.

So Here,

↦ <APQ = x.

[Alternate Interior Angles].

↦ x = 60°.

And,

↦ <DRP + <PRQ = 180°.

[Linear Pair].

↦ 127° + <PRQ = 180°.

↦ <PRQ = 180° - 137°.

<PRQ = 43°.

Similarly,

↦ y + x + <PRQ = 180°.

[Angle Sum Property of a triangle].

↦ y + 60° + 43° = 180°.

↦ y + 103° = 180°.

↦ y = 180° - 103°.

y = 77°.

Therefore the required value of x and y are 60° And 77° respectively.

HEY! UR ANSWER IS:

As said AB ll CD

ANGLE APQ = 60° AND ANGLE PRD= 137°

So the other adjacent angle= 180-60+137

= 103

y= 180- 103= 77°

x=60° cause it is adjacent to Angle APQ

HOPE THIS MAKES UR DAY BETTER!!
