Explanation:

a. ans : we know that current, I = charge(Q) / time(s)

here, I = 0.5 A , Q = ? and Time = 5 min

= 300s

.•. Q = I × T

= 0.5A × 300s

= 150C

b. ans : We know that,

V = IR

so, R = V/I

= 230/0.5

= 460ohm [ sorry, I can't write it's unit]

c. ans : Heat generated, H = I²RT

= 0.5² × 460 × 300

= 34,500 joules per second

d.ans : power,P = VI

= 230 × 0.5

= 115 watt.
