First he bought 11 sweets for = 100

Price for 1 sweet = 100/11

Again he bought 10 sweets for = 100

Price for 1 sweet = 100/10

Price for 1 sweet of each type i.e. 2 sweets = 100/11 + 100/10

= 1000+1100/110 = 2100/110 = 210/11

Price for 1 sweet = 210/11 * 1/2 = 210/22 = 105/11

Sold 1 sweet for = 100/8 = 25/2

Since SP is greater than CP hence profit.

Profit = 25/2 - 105/11

= (275 - 210) / 22

= 65/22

Profit % = Profit / CP * 100

= (65/22) / (105/11) * 100

= 65/22 * 11/105* 100

= 65/22 * 11/105 * 100

= 650/21

= 30.95%

Hence our profit% is 30.95%.

vishalpanda200p813cl: but in book the answer is 30.95%
inhumandrowsey: I have corrected it, now you can check. :)
