Heya !!!

X² - 3X + 2

=> X² - 2X - X + 2

=> X ( X - 2) - 1 ( X - 2)

=> ( X - 2 ) ( X - 1)

Hence,

( X - 2) and ( X - 1) are the two factor of the given quadratic polynomial.

x {}^{2} - 3 x + 2
 = x {}^{2} - 2x - x + 2
 = x(x - 2) -1(x - 2)
 = (x - 2)(x - 1)
Either....
x - 2 = 0
 = > x = 2
Or.....
x - 1 = 0
 = > x = 1
Therefore value of x is 2 or 1.
The factors are (x-2) and (x-1).
