Answer:

Concept:

This is a story "Two Gentlemen of Verona" written by A.J. Cronin.

Explanation:

1) What do you know about Nicola and Jacopo's father?

A: Nicola and Jacopo do not have a Father. A bomb had killed their entire family, and they grew up alone. The boys’ home had been destroyed, and their father had been slain in the conflict. They had taken to the streets as a result of the fighting.

2) What was wrong with Lucia? How did her brothers help her?

A: Lucia suffering from a deadly disease. Lucia was receiving treatment for spinal TB. But after the treatment, she was recovering. Her brothers made the payments every week for the smooth going of treatment.

3)The boys grew to hate the Germans. Why?

A: A bomb had killed their entire family, and the boys grew to despise Germans as a result. After the war was over, there was peace all around. But not in the lives of these children as it was at this moment that they discovered Lucia suffering from the deadly disease.

4). What values of life can we learn from the story —Two Gentlemen of Verona!?

A: Their spirits were not broken. They remained committed and selfless throughout. They’d rather work hard and earn money than have someone feel sorry for them and offer assistance.

5) How did the villagers ensure that the tiger did not roam away from

the locality?

A: They set up an elderly, frail tiger that was simpler to shoot. They took precautions to keep the tiger confined to the specific jungle region where they planned to do the shooting. In order to stop the tiger from escaping, they deployed children at the edges of the woods along with some inexpensive goats for it to eat. In order to prevent the tiger from being awakened from its nap, the village ladies likewise kept their infants quiet. To make it simple to shoot the tiger when it approached, they tethered a goat as bait at the ideal distance.
