In the first part first sentence a third person is mentioning that they did not even help the injured man and whereas in second part is referring as no on helped the injured man. So it’s like they are saying even the person who helps the most didn’t help the injured man.

In second part first sentence a third person is once again mentioning that Aruna can not match in anyways to another person’s beauty and grace. Whereas the second sentence is referring that they can’t find a proper match for Aruna in spite of all of their efforts.
