Let the rhombus be ABCD.

GIVEN :
Area of rhombus = 139.2cm²
Altitude(AC) = 9.6cm

REQUIRED TO FIND:
Perimeter of rhombus

SOLUTION:

We know that,

Area of rhombus ABCD = ½.AC.BD
BD = area of rhombus/AC.
BD = 139.2/9.6
BD = 14.5

And also,
In a rhombus ABCD,
•AB² + BC² + CD² + DA² = AC² + BD²
In a rhombus all sides are equal.
• 4AB² = AC² + BD²
• (2AB)² = 92.16 + 210.25
• (2AB)² = 302.41
• 2AB = 17.38
• AB = 8.69

Thus,
perimeter of rhombus = 4AB
perimeter of rhombus = 4 × 8.69
perimeter of rhombus = 34.77

RESULT :
perimeter of rhombus whose area is 139.2cm² and one of the altitudes is 9.6cm is 34.77cm.
