Keep this in mind,

 { (\frac{x}{y}) }^{ - 1}  =  \frac{y}{x}

 = {( {2}^{ - 1}  +  {3}^{ - 1}  +  {4}^{ - 1}) }^{ - 1} \\  =  { (\frac{1}{2} +  \frac{1}{3} +  \frac{1}{4})   }^{ - 1} \\   = {( \frac{6 + 4 + 3}{12} )}^{ - 1} \\  = ( { \frac{13}{12} )}^{ - 1}  \\   = \frac{12}{13}
