• i) x + 2y = 3
• put x = 0
• 0 +2y = 3
• ∴ y = 3/2
• put y = 0
• x + 2(0) = 3
• ∴ x = 3
• Now, we have points (0, 3/2) and (3,0)
• ⇒(0, 1.5)  and (3,0)
• ii) 2x - 3y = 5
• put x = 0
• 2(0) - 3y = 5
• ∴ y = -5/3
• put y = 0
• 2x - 3(0) = 5
• ∴ x = 5/2
• Now, we have points (0, -5/3) and (5/2,0)
• ⇒(0, -1.667)  and (2.5, 0)
• iii) x + y = 4, x - y = 1
• solving above equations, we get,
• x = 5/2
• 5/2 + y = 4
• y = 3/2
• 5/2 - y = 1
• y =  3/2
• (5/2 , 3/2)
• now,
• put x = 0 in x + y =4
• y = 4
• put y = 0 in x + y =4
• x = 4
