π( R^2-r^2) sq. units .

Proof ,

Let the radius of larger circle be R units and that off smaller be r units .

Now,

The area of the larger circle =πR^2 sq. units.

The area of smaller circle =πr^2 sq.units

Since, both the circles are concentric → area between the both circles =πR^2 - πr ^2 sq. units = π(R^2- r^2) sq.units.
