in first case
distance=30km
speed=40km/h
time =d/s
t=30÷40 =0.75h
...
in second case
distance =50km
speed=20km/h
time =d/s
t= 50 /20 = 2.5h
...
total distance = 30 +50 =80km
total time =0.75+2.5 =3.25h
...
averahe speed= total distance /total time
= 80/3.25= 24.61km/h
