to find p(-2/3 ) put the value of y = -2/3
2( -2/3)^3 - (-2/3)^2 - 13(-2/3)-6
= 2*(-8/27)-(4/9)+(26/3)-6
= (-16/27)-(4/9)+(26/3)-6
= (-16-12+234-162 )/27
= 44/27
