HEY MAYE HERE IS UR ANSWER:

GIVEN:

perimeter of 1st square=20

we know that perimeter of square=4s so

4s=20

s=20/4

s=5

side of first square is 5cm

second square:

perimeter of square= 16

4s= 16

s=16/4

s=4

so side of second square=4cm

it is given that perimeter of third square is the difference of areas of first two squares so

area of first square=5×5=25

area of second square=4×4=16

difference= 25-16

=9

therefore perimeter of third square is 8cm
