Plurilocular sporangia occur in (A) Ectocarpus.

Plurilocular sporangia basically is many-celled sporangia each cell having a single pore. It develops from the terminal cells of the branchlets. These are spherically elongated structures. A row of 5-10 cells is produced in the Plurilocular sporangia.

Ectocarpus  is a brown algae. It produces unilocular sporangia at 13 °C and plurilocular sporangia at 19 °C and both unilocular and plurilocular sporangia are formed at 16 °C.

Plurilocular sporangia fundamentally are many-celled sporangia every cell having a solitary pore.

It creates from the terminal cells of the branchlets.

These are roundly prolonged structures.

A column of 5-10 cells is created in the Plurilocular sporangia.

Ectocarpus is dark colored green growth.

It produces unilocular sporangia at 13 °C and plurilocular sporangia at 19 °C and both unilocular and plurilocular sporangia are shaped at 16 °C.
