Plutarch's lives' is also known as ' Noble lives of Greeks and Romans ', or even 'parallel lives'. "Plutarch's lives" is supposed to be written in the second century.

It contains biographies of the lives of famous Greek and Roman personalities. Plutarch wanted to understand how good and bad characters had an effect on the characters of men of those times.
