to prove angle a =90°
ad^2 =bd*cd. ( given)

ad*ad= bd*cd.

ad/bd. = cd/ad. ............... (1)

in ∆abd and cad
ad=ad. (common)

ad/bd=. cd/ad. ......... given

by sss criteria. ∆abd and cad are congruent.

then angle. DBA=DAC. = 0°
and. angle dab. =DCA=90-0°

now. angle. A. = DAC + BAD

=thus angle A= 90-0°+0°
= 90 °.
hence proved
that ∆abc is a right angled triangle at. A.

sakshi2608: or why
Pushkar11111: I don't know sorry
Deepakshrivas: angle dba =dac. by ( cpct ) as we proved. triangle abd and cad are congruent
Pushkar11111: oh thank you
Deepakshrivas: it's your welcome
Deepakshrivas: and sorry i forgot to write cpct in answer
Pushkar11111: ok
Deepakshrivas: and yes it is not 0°. it is thetha. as we supposed
sakshi2608: ok
sakshi2608: thank u
