=> From the given, it is clear that, it is related to the Electromeric effect.

=>Mean while, we generally know that, bond length is inversely proportional to pi bond.Hence, it is quite known fact that, Electromeric effect is a temporary displacement of electrons,,consider if any electron source or(in general, electron donating group), is linked with unsaturated carbon, then if the Electron is lost to the more electronegative element, then frequently, Electron is donated by electron donating group, hence there is no change or increase in bond order,, but bond length remains same or decreases,, hence C-C π bond has relatively small length..

=> SIMILARLY, in case of electron withdrawing group,, the same case happens here, then subsequently, bond order decreases, while bond length increases, because of breakage of π bond..in a quite manner,, bond length increases with π character or no of π bond..

so therefore, presence of electron donating group in C-C π bond, decreases bond length.
