Answer:

Given, Mass of moon, M= 7.2×10^22kg

Radius of moon,r= 1.7×10^6

Mass of the object,m=80kg

Since, F= GMm

r^2

i.e., m×a= GM

r^2

a= 6.67×10^-11×7.2×10^22

1.7×10^6×1.7×10^6

a = 48.024×10^11

2.89×10^12

a= 48024 ×10^-2

289

a= 166.1730103806×10^-2

So, a= 1.66 m/s^2

Hence, acceleration due to gravity on moon= 1.66m/s^2

Now, weight of the object= m×a

80×1.66= 132.8 N

As the given answer is 132.94N

So, multipy by exact value of a.

i.e., a =1.661730103806

So, 80×1.661730103806= 132.94N .
