Answer:

To prove= 1/x +1/y =1/z

Proof by explanation:-

Ist Triangle (QBC)

QB is perpendicular on AC. (Given)

so, QB ⊥ AC

Area =1/2 × QB ×BC

= 1/2 × y × BC

2nd Triangle (ACR)

CR is perpendicular on AC. (Given)

so, CR ⊥ AC

Area = 1/2 × AC × CR

= 1/2 × z × CR

3rd Triangle (PAC)

PA is perpendicular on AC. (Given)

so, PA ⊥ AC

Area = 1/2 × PA × AC

= 1/2 × X × AC

Now,

Subtracting area of each triangle with each other (PAC-ACR-QBC)

The answer will be.

1/x +1/z = 1/y
