1) The formula for gravitational force is given by GMm/R^2 where M and m are the masses of the objects concerned. The answer = G*1*1/10^2 = 6.7*10^(-13) Newtons.

2)Volume of cube is side^3 = 10*10*10 = 1000 cm^3 and has mass 1.2 kg = 1200 gm. So the density of the cube is 1200/1000 = 1.2 gm/cc. But the density of the fluid is 0.8 gm/cc. Since the density of the cube is more, it sinks.
