Hello mate,

sound has many characterstics ,such asamplitude which only help to maintain the loudness of sound,and frequency,which tell us about the pitch of the sound,and this feature,help us to distinguish,between sounds because due to the pitch ,we get the sensation of the shrillness of the sound..
