Given length of a room = 5m.

Given breadth of a room = 4m.

Given height of a room = 3m.

We know that Area to be white-washed = 2(l + b) * h + (l * b)

                                                                    = 2(5 + 4) * 3 +  (5 * 4)

                                                                    = 2(9) * 3 + (20)

                                                                    = 74m^2.

Given the cost of whitewashing per m^2 = 7.50.

Cost of whitewashing 74m^2 = 7.50 * 74

                                                 = 555.

Therefore the cost of whitewashing = 555.

Hope this helps!

Heya dear user !!!

Here is your answer,

================================

Given : - length, breadth and height of a room.

length = 5m
breadth = 4m
height = 3m

Area of walls = ( lateral surface area )

= 2×(length + breadth) × height

= 2×(5+4)×3

= 2×9×3

= 54m²

================================

Area of upper wall of the room (ceiling)

= length × breadth

= 5×4

= 20m²

================================

Area of four walls + ceiling

= 54 + 20 = 74m²

================================

According to the question

The cost of white-washing the walls of the room and the ceiling per m² = ₹ 7.50

================================

Total cost of white - washing of the walls of room and ceiling

= 7.50 × 74

= ₹ 555

================================

Hence the total cost of white - washing of the walls of room and ceiling = ₹ 555

=================================

Hope it helps.
