for question no. 4
just put the value of x = 4 in the given eqn which gives you remainder in the form of a then equate that to given value of remainder (10)
and same in the 2 question where from 1st eqn you get actual remainder
and form 2nd equation you get the same remainder in the form of a
then equate both to get the value of a
for 3 question
since x -3 and x - 1/3 are the factors of given eqn so the satisfy f(3)= 0 , f(1/3) = 0 from here you got 2 eqns in the form of a and b then solve them to prove a=b
