Magnetic materials lose magnetism as they heat, but they regain magnetism when cooled provided the maximum temperature is below their Curie temperature. Above the Curie temperature, a magnet permanently loses all or some of its magnetism.

Answer:

Magnetized metal objects lose their magnetism if the objects become sufficiently hot. With increasing temperature, the atoms in a metal vibrate more energetically; eventually this causes the atoms to lose their magnetic alignment and any magnetic field the metal possessed.
