sec^4θ - sec^2θ
= sec^2 θ [ sec^2 θ - 1 ] { taking sec^2 θ as common }
= sec^2θ × tan^2θ
now R.H.S
tan^4θ + tan^2θ
= tan^2θ {tan^2θ +1}
=tan^2θ × sec^2θ
=or sec^2θ . tan^2θ
this means L.H.S= R.H.S
sec^4θ - sec^2θ
= sec^2 θ [ sec^2 θ - 1 ] { taking sec^2 θ as common }
= sec^2θ × tan^2θ
now R.H.S
tan^4θ + tan^2θ
= tan^2θ {tan^2θ +1}
=tan^2θ × sec^2θ
