= 4 + 8 || R₈ + R₅ || R₄ + R₃ || R₂ + R₁
= 12 || 6 + R₅ || R₄ + R₃ || R₂ + R₁
= 4 + 4 || R₄ + R₃ || R₂ + R₁
= 8|| 8 + R₃ || R₂ + R₁
= 4 + 4 || R₂ + R₁
= 8|| 8 + R₁
= 4 + 6
=> R = 10Ω
Hence the equivalent resistance of the circuit will be 10Ω
