Here's an easy prove-procedure:

Given that,

AB=BC=CD=DE

To prove:

AD=BE

Prove:

i. In quadrilateral ABCD,

AB=CD

& likewise, in quadrilateral BCDE,

BC=DE

So, both ABCD & BCDF are trapezium.

ii. In trapezium ABCD & BCDF,

AB:BC=CD:DE= BC:CD

=> AB/BC=CD/DE=BC/CD

So, both the trapeziums are congruent to each other.

iii. ABCD ≅ BCDF

Hence, AD=BE [Proved]
