Answer:

1)The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle or the hydrological cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth.

2)Rainwater harvesting (RWH) is the collection and storage of rain, rather than allowing it to run off. Rainwater is collected from a roof-like surface and redirected to a tank, cistern, deep pit (well, shaft, or borehole), aquifer, or a reservoir with percolation.

3)Condensation is the change from a vapor to a condensed state (solid or liquid). Evaporation is the change of a liquid to a gas.

Answer:

1.water cycle-The water cycle is the path that all water follows as it moves around Earth in different states. Liquid water is found in oceans, rivers, lakes—and even underground. Solid ice is found in glaciers, snow, and at the North and South Poles. Water vapor—a gas—is found in Earth’s atmosphere.

2.rainwater harvesting-Rainwater harvesting system, also called rainwater collection system or rainwater catchment system, technology that collects and stores rainwater for human use. Rainwater harvesting systems range from simple rain barrels to more elaborate structures with pumps, tanks, and purification systems.

3.distinguish between: evaporation and condensation

evaporation

  • By definition, evaporation is a process where water changes into vapour.
  • Evaporation occurs before a liquid reaches its boiling point.
  • In terms of molecular movement, when a liquid is heated or when pressure is decreased the forces of attraction between molecules is low. The liquid then evaporates to a gas.

condensation

  • Condensation is the opposite process where water vapour is converted to tiny droplets of water.
  • Condensation is a phase change regardless of the temperature.
  • When a gas is cooled or when the pressure is increased the forces of attraction between molecules become strong. The gas then condenses to either a liquid or even a solid.

hope it helped you!!! :)
