Hii Mate here is Your Answer,

Let the smallest number be 2 X as it is even so other numbers are =

2x + 2 and 2x + 2 +2 = 2x + 4

So their Sum is

2x +2x +2+2x +4

= 6x+6

A/Q :

6x + 6 = 48

6( x+1)= 48

x + 1 = 8

heya....

Here is your answer ....

Let us take the three consecutive natural numbers = 2x, 2x+2, 2x+4.

Now,

The sum of three consecutive natural numbers =48.

2x+2x+2+2x+4 = 48

6x+6 = 48

6x = 48-6

6x = 42

x = 42/6

x = 7.

The greatest number = 2x+4

= 2(7)+4

= 14+4

=18.
